What has happened

1. May 19, 2026Prologis withdrew its application in a letter to the township's planning and zoning director, saying it would wait until the township adopts an ordinance governing data centers before proceeding. Planet Detroit

Where the sources disagree

The 800 MW is from a 9 June 2025 Prologis email, released by the township under FOIA and reported by WDIV/ClickOnDetroit, describing energy use ramping to 800 MW over five years. It was never filed as a capacity. EDRA of Michigan lists 760 MW, which appears in no other source. The DTE explanation is the township supervisor’s account of what Prologis told him, not a statement from DTE.
